Benchmark crude for February delivery fell 43 cents to $ 92. 66 per barrel at late afternoon Bangkok time in electronic trading on the New york city Mercantile Exchange. The agreement closed 17 cents at $ 93. 09 a barrel on the Nymex on Friday after the U.S. Energy Department's Energy Information Administration reported a much bigger drop in the country 's crude supplies than experts anticipated. Independently, crude stocks fell by about 12 million barrels for the week ending Dec. 28, according to the American Petroleum Institute. Monday's decline in oil prices follows the launch of a transcript of the Federal Reserve's December conference showing that policymakers disagreed over exactly how long to keep a bond-purchase program in spot. Traders inferred the Fed might reduce the program, which might send U.S. interest rates, and for that reason the dollar, higher.

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
